Common Heath Issue In Women




Women play many roles in their life - from the role of a daughter, to wife and then a mother. All along the way playing different roles, she chooses to give priority to her relations - thereby neglecting her own health. 

But now women health issues have been gaining a lot of attention and women are becoming conscious about their health, as they have been realizing that good health can only help them keep their family happy. Even thou there is some health issues in women that needs to be taken care of at the earliest, so that it does not escalate.

  Here are some of the major heath issues faced by women.
  1. Osteoporosis is one of the major health issue, faced by almost all the women with growing age. The strength of your bone depends on the amount of calcium and after 30 your bones start reducing calcium naturally, which can lead to severe bone disease. It is important that you take adequate amount of calcium to avoid the trouble. Smoking, consumption of alcohol, beverages and high sodium food should be reduced in order to protect your bone from osteoporosis.
  2. Menopause is a phase of life, when women lose 70% of their reproductive hormone called estrogen. Estrogen helps in retaining calcium and other essential elements within your body, due to its loss women face many problems during menopause, which includes, heart disease, hot flash and several bone related diseases.
  3. Women are also prone to breast cancer, even thou it is not clear if obesity is the main factor, but overweight women generally have the risk of developing breast cancer. During menopause women have a tendency of accumulating fat, which increases the risk of cancer? Several researches indicate that consumption of Vitamin D can help you avoid breast cancer.
Nutrition plays a very vital role in keeping healthy; this is the reason that women must plan their diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables, providing them the adequate amount of fiber and the needed calcium.
