Tips To Avoid Dark Circles

Dark circles are very common problem and can be seen almost in every individual. Lack of sleep and nutrition, stress, depression, sun exposure and age are some of the major reasons behind dark circles. Excessive consumption of any drug or medicines can also cause dark circles. Many times the problem also occurs because of negligence on your part. Following a weight-loss diet without consulting expert can also be a major reason for dark circles. Here are some tips that can help you in avoiding the problem.
 
  • Adequate sleep can help you combat stress and avoid dark circles. You must try to sleep at least for eight hours. 
  • Include a lot of fruits and vegetables to your everyday diet. Tomato juice is considered very effective in treating dark circles. You can drink tomato juice by adding little mint leaves and lemon juice, so that it is tastier and beneficial.  Well-balanced diet with whole grains and milk can keep your skin glowing and healthy.
  • Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water every day.
  • You can apply paste prepared from gram flour, tomato juice, turmeric powder, and lemon juice over the affected area for 10 minutes.
  • You must avoid cream or makeup around your eyes for a longer period of time.
  • Almond oil massage around eyes for 10 minutes every day, helps you to get rid of dark circles. You can also apply Vitamin C powder on the affected areas and wipe it off with honey and egg white.
  • Cucumber and potato juice are considered as excellent treatments for lightening dark circles. You can cut slices of it or soak a cotton ball in the juice and leave it over your eyes for 15 minutes.
