  • Breastfeeding is the most effective way to lose weight after pregnancy. It helps the uterus to come back to its normal shape by utilizing the excess fat deposit. The more the milk is produced for breastfeeding, the more fat stored will be mobilized resulting in natural weight loss. Include galactogogues food in your diet that stimulates milk production. Cereals like oats and barley are rich in beta-glucans, which increases milk production. They are also very useful to women who have chronic low supply of milk. Milk, nuts and garlic are also very helpful in milk production. Fenugreek helps promote the flow of breast milk and it also reduces colic in babies.
