Going to parlor, time and again might be pocket pinching.  You can maintain glowing skin and at the same time save a lot of money by doing facial at home. Here are few home facial tips for you to maintain a beautiful, glowing skin.
  • Facial is a refreshing skin treatment but the first and most important step is cleaning. You must clean your face thoroughly by using a cleanser.  Buy a cleansing lotion or astringent of a good company, depending on your skin type. Take a little cleanser on the cotton and clean your skin. Cleaning with cleanser will leave your skin smooth and soft.

  • Next step of facial project is steaming, which will open up all the closed pores. You can either take directly by exposing your face to the steam, or the best way is to dip cloth in water and press it on your face so that the remaining dirts and specks are removed.
  • Now your skin is ready for mask. You must select the mask depending on your skin type. If you have dry skin then you can prepare a mixture of banana and sweet almond oil and apply it on your skin for 15 minutes. Honey mixed with egg yolk is also a good alternative for dry skin. For oily skin, you can use the paste of cucumber, yogurt and oatmeal, as it is really effective.  A mixture of apple and honey is also good for oily skin.
  • After 15 to 20 minutes wash away the mask and moisturize your skin to feel fresh and young.

The Goodness Of Sunlight

Excessive exposure to sun can be damaging for your skin, but at the same time how can you ignore the fact that exposure to sun helps to generate Vitamin D in our body. Vitamin D is one of the essential nutrients which our body requires for various reasons. It helps our bones to grow stronger and to prevent diseases like osteoporosis. It can also ward off the risk of cancer or other infections, by increasing the immunity of our body. Vitamin D works for the brain to take care of the problems like dementia, depression etc. In addition to that, it also helps our heart and teeth to get stronger and healthier. However with the regular use of sunscreen lotion and by seriously avoiding the sun, we are not being able to generate sufficient vitamin D and thus causing a great harm to our body.

So, what is the way out for this problem? You cannot allow your skin to get burnt and accept all the damaging effect of sunlight, for generating the vitamin D. According to scientists, depending upon the geographic location you can sit under the sun for 10 to 15 minutes during the day time. Now the concept of geographic location is very important in this case. There are some places on earth which receives brighter sun in comparison to other places. If you think the sun is too bright and warm, that you cannot tolerate then you should not be out. To solve this confusion, the best thing would be to enjoy the sun at the early hours of the day. In fact you do not need to be enjoying the sun on a regular basis; just 2-3 days in a week will be enough to produce the required amount of vitamin D in your body.

To enjoy the sun in such a restricted way, you will not require sitting or lying on a beach. You can simply take a morning walk in your garden or some nearby park or at any open place. Just make sure that you get soaked into the sun. In case you are into your beachwear, your whole body will receive the sunlight and hence you may cut down the time under the sun to 7-8 minutes.

Tips To Have Dazzling Smile

Tattoos are widely popular amongst the young generation as these represent uniqueness in the new fashion experiments. Along with body tattoos, dental tattoos are the next big thing to make a splash. The design placed on your tooth ensures that your smile is never the same again. Using dental tattoos you can deck up your tooth with anything from painting to a crystal studded dragon. Here are some tips that can help you have a perfect tooth tattoo.
  1. You can go for a permanent tattoo or a temporary one. If you are not so adventurous then temporary tattoos are the best option. These tattoos last for few weeks, some months or even for couple of years. Angles, butterflies and flowers are mostly liked by women where as dragon and insects are for men.
  2. Temporary tattoos take a shorter time to fix as the procedure simply involves sticker being pasted to the tooth with a solution but in case of permanent tattoos it takes  quite a few sittings. In case of permanent tattoos first the tooth is measured, after which an artificial tooth is created in the laboratory. In the next sitting the natural tooth is chipped allover and then replaced by the artificial new tooth. Permanent tattoos can cause some occasional sensitivity, thus you must only plan to have permanent tattoos when your tooth is infected.
  3. If you wish to get a dental tattoo then it is always best to look out for a cosmetic dentist who has experience in the field. Since there is no course available for dental tattooing, doctors follow their own style and techniques that they have gathered over the years. You can collect referrals of dental lab from your family and friends. After collecting referrals you should inquire about their quality of work.
  4. The size and intricacy of tattoos, determine its cost of tattooing. You must select artwork that is large enough to cover your tooth. Smaller artworks are also fine but ensure that it does not have a lot of detail.
  5. If you want to downplay the left side of your face then tattoo your tooth on the right side or other way round.
Regular dental check-ups will keep your tattoos new and shiny; and will also keep the smille sparkling forever.

Tips On Washing Your Hair

Every woman wants to have  beautifully styled hair because it enhances their look. Healthy and conditioned hair is always good for styling. However, it always depends on how you maintain and how you wash the hair. You might think that washing hair is an easy job and by using several hair care products you can keep your hair healthy. This is not true; if you do not know the right method of cleaning your hair, then there is a high chance of your hair getting damaged. Here are some tips on how to wash your hair, so that it adds beauty to your looks.
  • You must always massage oil on your scalp at least one to two hours before you wash hair.
  • Never make a mistake of putting water on your hair before you remove tangles. Once the hair is wet, it becomes even more difficult to get rid of hair knots because wet hair becomes weak and fragile. Tangle free hair ensures less breakage while you wash.
  • Choose shampoo based on your hair type, but ensure that your shampoo is not harsh. You must take a little shampoo, dilute it and then apply it on the front portion of your head and then slowly towards the back. Never forget about the scalp because most of the dust and dirt accumulate on your scalp.
  • After you apply shampoo on your hair leave it for 5 minutes and then rinse it with lukewarm water. Repeat the whole process of shampooing once again.
  • Rinse your hair with adequate water and then apply conditioner starting from the tip of your hair and then gradually upwards. Conditioning makes your hair look good and help in maintaining its shine. Conditioner should also be rinsed after 5 minutes of application.
  • Do not use comb or dryers on wet hair. Using comb on wet hair can increase breakage whereas dryers can make them rough. You can try drying your hair by standing in sunlight for a while.
Hope these tips will help you in creating a great hair wash day with less breakage and more shine.
